Scenes from Health Care Protest
Craigslist had an ad offering $15 an hour to people who would hold ObamaCare signs. (Maybe they could get a bonus if they look like they mean it.)
The liberals are carrying three signs that have been mass-produced and handed out. One of their mass-produced signs says, “Thank You Obama.” The others say “Reform Now,” and “Standing Together: Health.” Most of the fake protesters are lifeless, or sitting in the grass bored out of their minds. They don’t smile. Not one of them holds a flag. None sing. Just sit there being bored on their asses collecting their $15 an hour. Makes me think of the people I know who sit on their asses and collect Welfare or Disability. No desire, no want to do anything, nothing.
As I walk through the still gathering crowd, I notice that all the signs are polite, intelligent and homemade. No swastikas! Well, there was one poster of Obama with a Hitler mustache that was quickly taken down.
TO me that poster seemed appropriate since the two have so many similar qualities which I will list off the top of my head:
The most recent being Obama purposefully stirring up racial conflict with the Gates-Crowley affair. Hitler did that…stirred up racial conflict. First against the Jews, then the Catholics, then all foreigners in general.
Obama’s current attitude toward Israel is in question. Hitler did not support Jews, and even made a deal with the Mufti of Jerusalem (Yassar Arafat's Uncle) to raise an army of Arabic Soldiers, trained in Germany to exterminate the jews that were left in the middle east.
Obama is forming a volunteer/mandatory Youth Army. Hitler did that.
Obama has formed an elitist guard (the Purple Shirts of the SEIU) for crowd control. Hitler did that and they became the feared Brown Shirts.
Obama is trying to have government control everything, the media, cars, banks, houses, health. Hitler did that.
Obama appointed 44 people (czars) that we didn’t get to vote for. Hitler did that.
Obama started a Snitch Program (see George Soros biography, he was one) and a Truth Squad (see Missouri during the Election of 2008 for the Truth Squad - comprised of Missouri DA's and Sheriffs who backed Obama). Hitler did that.
Obama wants the government to control who dies and when they die. Hitler did that. So did Stalin, Lenin, Pol Pot, Idi Amin, Mao, Mussolini, Daniel Ortega, Gen. Francisco Franco and Castro.
Lastly I ask that those reading this look up and read Philip Dru: Administrator. This was written in the days of Woodrowe Wilson. It was Wilson's favorite reading material and is considered a must read for Progressives. Obama claims he is a Progressive, Hillary Clinton also, Harry Reid, Pelosi, Waxman, Boxer all claim to be Progressives and all have mentioned this little book.

If It's True, Why Lie?
Recently, a lady names Roxanna ID'd herself as a "struggling Primary Care Physician" who has been practicing for "four years". Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee hugged her and called her brave and held her up to the assembled as a true hero.
Turns out Ms. Roxanne was a plant. Roxanne is not a Physician of any kind. Roxanne is a Campaign Organizer (ACORN?) most recently for the Obama Campaign.
Now I ask these questions.
If this Health Care Reform Bill is all that the Main Stream Media says it is (I Have Read it, it is not good, it is a power grab by Government) then why do they have to lie? Why put plants in the audience who are called on, but others ignored? If the assembled masses are paid troublemakers by the GOP and Insurance Companies why do they not use the tactics made famous by the Left like hitting the speaker with a pie, or throwing blood on the speaker? They ask questions and want answers that the Congresspeople and Senators seem to have no answers for because, unlike me, they have not read their own Bill.
So, please read your Bill, Mr., Miss, or Mrs. Congressperson and Senator.

"If it be asked, What is the most sacred duty and the greatest source of our security in a Republic? The answer would be, An inviolable respect for the Constitution and Laws — the first growing out of the last.... A sacred respect for the constitutional law is the vital principle, the sustaining energy of a free government."

Yep, Change we can believe in
The House of Representatives is currently considering the American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009 -- “cap-and-trade” energy legislation that aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by giving the federal government the power to limit the amount of oil, gasoline, coal, and other fossil fuels used by American utilities and industry.
In reality, this cap-and-trade plan is nothing more than a hidden tax that The Heritage Foundation has estimated could increase the average American family’s energy bill by $1,500 annually along with raising taxes on the average family $3100 a year!
Introduced by Reps. Henry Waxman (D-Calif.) and Edward Markey (D-Mass.), the so-called Waxman-Markey bill will place a severe regulatory burden on American businesses, which will increase their costs and reduce their competitiveness, hurting our nation’s economy.
These higher operating costs for utilities, oil companies, and industry will ultimately trickle down to individual Americans, and you will pay an estimated 74 percent more for gasoline, 90 percent more for electricity, and 55 percent more on your natural gas bill. And that’s not the end of it. You’ll also pay more for every product that requires fossil fuels in its manufacture or transportation! You won't be able to tune up your car or install a grill in your back yard without federal interference ... perhaps even a costly environmental impact study.
* The Heritage Foundation's Center for Data Analysis determined that Waxman-Markey would reduce aggregate GDP by $7.4 trillion, kill 844,000 jobs and raise the energy bill paid by a typical family by about $1,500 annually.
* A study by the National Association of Manufacturers projected that emissions caps, similar to those previously rejected by the U.S. Senate calling for a 63% cut in emissions by 2050, would reduce GDP by up to $269 billion and cost 850,000 jobs.
* A study conducted by researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology determined the restrictions could raise gasoline prices by 29%, electricity prices by 55% and natural gas prices by 15% by 2015. They also estimate a loss of up to 855,000 jobs.
* A 2007 report by the Congressional Budget Office examining the costs of cutting carbon emissions just 15% noted that customers "would face persistently higher prices for products such as electricity and gasoline. Those price increases would be regressive in that poorer households would bear a larger burden relative to their income than wealthier households would."
The Waxman-Markey cap-and-trade plan will also grow the size and cost of government by requiring the Environmental Protection Agency to establish a greenhouse gas (GHG) registry, create a GHG emission allowance transfer system, and set emission allowances from 2012-2050. This army of new bureaucrats will eventually control every aspect of industrial, commercial, and individual energy use. What’s more, the cap-and-trade program will necessarily be ripe for political favoritism and corruption, as politicians and bureaucrats manipulate the system for favored industries.
Climatologist Chip Knappenberger has estimated that the 83 percent reduction in greenhouse gas emissions mandated under Waxman-Markey by 2050 will result in a drop in climate temperature of only nine-hundredths of 1 degree Fahrenheit. That’s equivalent to just two years of avoided global warming.
In short, the Waxman-Markey bill will achieve virtually no environmental pay-offs, while imposing huge costs on our businesses, our economy, and each and every American as a taxpayer and consumer.
Now be honest. Look at your paycheck, if you are still receiving one and tell me something. Can you afford this? I know with raising a son and making a housepayment I sure cannot. Come winter, I definitely won't be able to make any ends meet.
Congress and the Senate will vote themselves raises again, but I cannot do that. Nor can the rest of the non-government people. With all the other new taxes coming down the road for the Health Care BS (3% Income tax increase for those making more than 30K AND a potential Federal Sales Tax on EVERYTHING) how much more can a person stand?
Yep, CHANGE we can believe in.Sunday, May 10, 2009
Of Early 20th Century American Progressives, Eugenics and Bassackward Economics
I must admit that the latest creation of the MSM comparing our President to the genius of Mr. Spock is great, but for those of us who are real Trekkies, we should take note. Mr. Spock is also cold, callous and totally "end justifies the means" much like the "Progressive" Movement that the President and his minions claim to be. If sacrificing 100 theoretically will save 1,000 then 100 will go.
This is seen in the Economic Models pushed by Cnn and Keith Olbermann and the MSNBC crew on the Lemmings who eat it up. The sad thing is that these followers do not do their homework, and those dishing it out conveniently forget a lot of the facts and information that their models do not contain.
Milton Friedman before his passing in 2006 wrote an excellent book called "Money Mischief, Episodes In Monetary History". For those who have never taken an Economics Course this material would be boring, but I found it fascinating. Mr. Friedman was unknowingly a prophet by writing this book.
Uncontrolled money growth is the cause of inflation, Friedman stresses, and only monetary reform, despite undesirable side effects like unemployment, can cure it. Spending and debasing the currency will lead to a Weimar Republic such as Germany had before Hitler came to power (by promising to restore the Currency to its former state and returning Germany back to how it was before the first World War) and as a modern day Zimbabwe is now with the price of a loaf of bread being $10 million, IF you can find a loaf of bread to be bought. Now think this, 20 years ago Zimbabwe was the a large part of the "bread basket" of Africa. Food exports had the country doing quite well, no inflation, no starvation. For those willing to learn, search and find out what happened in the past 20 years in Zimbabwe. Tell me if the term Deja-Vu does not apply.
Basically it comes down to the fact that those who can, do. Those who can not will try, those who will not will cry, bitch and moan that life is unfair. I sat on disability and observed those who will not up close and personal. They got all the handouts and freebies because the one thing that they could do was be first in line for the handouts and bitch loudest to the local TV cameras. The sad thing is that the TV crews ate their shit up like it was a 7-course meal. The guy who was trying to work and get ahead by doing something was cast aside for the one who gave only minimal effort, failed as well as he should, then sat on his ass and bitched that it was all because he was ___fill in the blank____ .
Now, we have reaped the wind. Here comes the whirlwind. The tornado. All the Economists that were called "idiots, dinosaurs" and some called racists because they said that the policies espoused by our President were not right, but backwards say the same thing. Within two years it won't matter how much money you make, if you even have a job. Hyper inflation will have set in, your money will be worthless. Add to that the up to 100 new taxes that are to be levied (your $10 a payday tax break, by the way, will all have to be paid back this next April - Happy Tax Day everyone - a gift from the IRS), along with the Cap and Trade for the myth called "Global Warming/Climate Change/Global Cooling" or whatever the name is this month will break us.
I wish I was smart enough to put into words all the things I know about this, but my mind races off in so many directions. Ludwig von Mises, Frederich Hayek, Milton Friedman, Henry Hazlitt are all excellent reads.
Just know that Progressivism, especially the early 20th Century style espoused by our President, Hillary Clinton, Pelosi and their ilk is bad. Real bad. It's bad. Eugenics, Economic catastrophe, using European Laws to circumvent U.S. Laws. Nope, it just isn't right.
Another good read is:

My Broncos
Personally, I think that a lot of good college players were overlooked because they went to small schools, but maybe that is good so other teams will ignore them (I hope) in the draft so my team can grab them up.
Being a Denver Broncos fan, I can only hope that my team has people there who can weed through the mess and get some good players for their defense.
Guys like Sammie Hill from little Shipley(?) College is a favorite of mine. He looks like a real player and the fact that he ran into a burning building to save people he did not know shows a character that few have. The NFL needs people like him.

Great Quote
What a great Quote!
The late Dr. Adrian Rogers (1931 to 2005) Memphis, TN, offered the
following observation several years ago and it bears great Significance
today:
"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the rich
out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person
must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody
anything the government does not first take from somebody else.
When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the the other
half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the
idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what
they work for, that my dear friend is about the end of any nation."

What the hell?
Why is it the Global Warming people cannot admit their mistakes? Why is it they continue to push government controls when the only thing government creates are more problems?
When there is a problem, people cry to the government for a cure. The government passes more laws, more regulations. When that blows up in their faces, people go to the government again and the process only continues to worsen until it becomes a giant black hole.
See the old Soviet Union, Cuba, Venezuela, China, Nazi Germany for historical and modern day proof of that. Government controls result in shortages, starvation, favoritism and economic segregation for the select few (another form of favoritism..i.e. the old Soviet Olympic Athletes and Party officials) who live like kings while the masses toil and labor for shit.
In Canada the "Green Minister" is calling for a mandate of two children per family. Wow, this has worked in China real well.
The Greenies claim that the holes appearing in a glacier atop a volcano about to blow PROVES Global Warming. All this time I thought that the heat given off by the rising magma was the cause of the holes. Duh! I need to get a better government sponsored education.
At the Democratic Convention in Denver, Colorado they sold "Carbon Credits" to offset the carbon footprint by the Convention. They sold a total of $40.00 worth of credits. Now please tell me, how is that not Hypocritical? This crap is being pushed on the working man, but those who are doing the pushing are not leading the way.
Does anybody know what these credits are? What does the money buy except another two Filet Mignon meal for Al Gore? These so called credits are to be sold at Airports around the country soon, so what will they buy? How does this offset the so called climate change?
This article here is awesome:
http://www.kusi.com/weather/colemanscorner/38574742.html
Gives the history of the Global Warming myth.
"I'm afraid that the current crisis will be misused for radically constraining the functioning of the markets and market economy all around the world, I'm more afraid of the consequences of the crisis than the crisis itself."Czech President Vaclav Klaus.
I totally agree. People need to wake up, but much like the followers of Adolph Hitler I'm afraid they will not in time to stop the real Nazi's in the Green Movement.
What A Game Tonight
I can even say it backwards. WOW!
I was all for Pittsburgh, but when Arizona scored with a little over 2 minutes to play, I was hoping Arizona would hold the game. Pittsburgh went on to win with a little over 30 seconds to play.
Great game, great finish and history made. Harrison's interception for a touchdown. The safety by Arizona. The 6th ring for Pittsburgh.
Great game gentlemen.
Now the question is, Who will be the opponent for the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XLIII?

In The Beginning....
Damn that bad luck.
As I write this i am watching the classic David Lynch film "Blue Velvet". Isabel Rosellini is such a classic babe. The daughter of Sophia Loren who I think is on the top ten list of all-time hot babes and the grand niece of Italian Fascist Dictator Benito Mussolini of WWII fame.
My late father had a story from WWII about Mussolini. When he wed my mother he had a 24 hour honeymoon and was shipped beck to the war. It was the Anzio Invasion of Italy and he was on the beach, stuck in a foxhole and being shelled for two entire weeks. When the Americans finally broke through, he and my mothers' Uncle, Arnold Lemke and the best man at his wedding Bernie Elkins went on a drunk. A massive drunk of epic proportions. During this massive drunk, the guys somehow got behind enemy lines and ended up in Rome. They stole Mussolini's Rolls Royce and continued their drunk while cruising the Italian countryside. They came upon a small town near the German border and came upon a classic Kodak moment. There before their eyes, hanging upside down from a tree and being stoned was Il Duce. Benito Mussolini himself. My dad took pictures and I got to see them a couple of times when I was younger.
When I listen to the younger people of today speak of things like WWII, I wonder and am saddened because they do not know their history. They act like they are smart, but the one thing my dad drilled into me was that "those who don't know their history are doomed to repeat it". What I see happening in todays day and age are the same mistakes and the same evils that created that situation coming to pass again.
What is even sadder in my opinion is that many of the younger generation do not care. The apathy and lack of concern is thick in the air. The arrogance that "it will not happen here" is scary to me because of the weaponry at the command of the true fascists of today who are somehow considered "enlightened" while those of my parent's generation are considered "dinosaurs" and "fascists" by those who have no idea or concept what fascism and nazi-ism really was.
Control of the population by government, control of the manufacturing, banking and education systems by the government. "Fairness Doctrine" to control the airwaves. Control by a central core. Control, control, control and the lemmings go off the cliff all together because they are all followers.
"Well it's 1973, I wonder who we're gonna see
Who's in power now? I think I'll turn on the TV
The man on the news says "China's gonna beat us
we've shot all our dreamers, there's no one left to lead us"
From the Larry Norman song "Reader's Digest"
Oh so true even today.
